need help putting a turbo on a 856

Iam working on an 856, and would like to put a turbo on it. what whould fit the 407? Just for farm use |

1256 or 1456 manifold and turbo. |

1256, 1456, 1026 or the 915 combine had some 407s in them, you will also need a thermostat housing, crossover pipe, and you will have to cut a new exhaust hole in the hood. you will need a oil filter base or you can drill your old one if you are trting to make it look stock. |

We have an 806 that we put a 407 in, and we found a complete manifold with the original M&W turbo. It keeps the exhaust going through the factory hole in the hood. For it being a stock turbo and 407, its got some power and boost. |

what is the stock 1256 turbo some form of a to4? would a 3lm be a cheaper replacement ? |

The 3-LD that comes on a factory install 1256-1456 is a T-3 bolt pattern on the foot. The 3-LM and T-04 is a T-4 bolt pattern on the foot. |

Stock turbo for a 1026 or 1256 is a Schwitzer 3LD-229; 1456's had the Schwitzer 3LD-279, which looks identical externally. |
