2+2 Sheetmetal on Tractor...Only Curious March 04, 2013 03:34PM
I am aware of a tractor across the pond using 2+2 sheetmetal, which has blown up a couple times if memory serves me correctly; but, has anyone else ventured out and used it on any other tractors here in the states? We have seen the large CNH 4WD STX and JD 9000 series sheetmetal used thus far and just wondering if any other "old school" design has been used. I have no dog in the fight, not stirring anything up nor bashing anyone, just asking out of my own curiosity. Thanks!

The tractor from Mn is mine. I will make you a great deal on this beautiful hood if you are interested. It has arms and shocks to make it tilt. 218-234-5947

Jus wondering wat classes the 2+2 hood is allowed in. I kno the USS don't have a hood rule, and I kno most rules are front wheel assist or 2wd only. Is the 2+2 considered a a front wheel assist or 4wd?

The 2+2 was a articulate tractor. But by rules they would be using the same rearend and trans as a 86 series tractor.
