i am wondering if anyone has ever run a rod that was narrower on the bearing end then the factor rod? will the rod walk around on the crank? the bearing width is the same but the width of the over all end of the rod is different |

There have been alot of guys run IH rods on a John Deere. I don't remember exactly how much narrower the IH rods are but somewhere around 1/4" maybe only 1/8" and it doesn't seem to be a problem. I am not saying it is ideal but it works. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/24/2013 12:19AM by J&R Machine. |
