I am installing a roll cage on my 2640 and I want to put a hand throttle on the side of the cage instead of using the one on the console. I was wondering what type or brand of cable that others have used. I looked at some of the marine control cables and they appear to be to small in diameter with a 10-32 end. I was hoping for something bigger like 1/4-20 or 5/15. Especially since i have to be able to push the cable in to shut the engine down.

Any information would be appreciated.

I have the heavy duty truck parts store by me make them. They can
make any size or length I want.

132" is the length of a 2+2 throttle cable.

A lot of people on here post they use one off of an IH 2+2

Any idea how long the cable for the IH 2+2 is? I called my local IH parts place but he didn't have anything in his computer and the online parts isn't any help either. Looks like it should be fairly long judging by the size of the tractor it goes on.

Figure out how long you want ( A little longer won't hurt). Go to McMaster Carr They have Cables for anything you want to do. Also so any end you would want to put on it.
