What is the largest 50 series PPump or newer tractor or combine engine that will bolt in a 4010? Highest stock hp or best to build up?

Just stick in an IH DT466 and then you'll have something.

The bell housing bolt pattern is still the same today on the 9.0L engines... If you want largest mechanical pumped engine.. it would be the 8.1L engine... Highest HP 8.1L would probably be a marine or OEM engine in the 400-425Hp range.. Most (not all.) 8.1L Ag applications were Electronic Governored.. but most likey you won't use the pump anyways...
Many like the 55-60 series engine as well... (early 7.6L engine.. )

I'll look for almost any non high pressure common rail 8.1L engine or Early 7.6L engine with P-pump mount.. (the engine that looks like a 466 with the oil cooler in the same location.)
