Hope the weather turns out for you. I'll see what i can do bout bringing a few extra tractors your way.

Re: 2 hot 2 farm June 30, 2013 05:51AM
There will be an added $250 per class for the 2 hot 2 farm classes. We will also be trying to run one of the 2 hot 2 farm around noon. We have interest with some of the ECI guys wanting to pull once and head South to the ECI pull that night. We will try to work with everyone and have the best show possible. Don't forget we will be having a shootout class at the end of the day sponsored by Rolfes Transport and will have a $750 purse. $400-$250-$100. Hope you all can make it. Thanks

Re: 2 hot 2 farm July 01, 2013 05:34AM
Talked to several people sounds like we should have a nice turn out of too hots. We will be paying back 10 spots 1st will not leave filthy rich that way and it will make it worth while for those who made the trip. Anyone with any questions can call me at 319 721 7225. Pink Floyd should be in attendance, were crossing our fingers at the moment we just installed a 50% drop TA.

Re: 2 hot 2 farm July 01, 2013 08:23AM
We will be allowing traction bars in the street diesel pickup class. Had several pullers concerned about this so we decided to allow them. Still no hanging weight and one stock appearing turbo. The purpose of this class is so the average guy can come off the street put a clevis on his truck and brag to his buddies about how much power it has. If you are throwing 3.0 turbos on and doing a bunch of other mods you will have the mod diesel class to pull in. That is what that class is for. Everyone should have two classes to hook in plus the shootout if you choose. If you are pulling farm stock pace you will hook twice if you choose in farm stock pace. Same for open farm etc.etc. No class jumping please. Hope everyone has a great day and can come have some fun on thursday. thanks

Re: aurora iowa tractor, truck, and semi pull on July 4th July 01, 2013 11:35PM
If theres a couple of you that r at 13 n wanna run 12 we can throw a 13500 or a 15 together. Ill talk to dan.

Re: aurora iowa tractor, truck, and semi pull on July 4th July 02, 2013 01:25AM
If you can make 13000 I don't have a problem with u pulling both classes. You would get ur two hooks in like everyone else can. Good question. Hope you can make it. Thanks

bring your lawnchairs July 03, 2013 05:32AM
Dont forget your lawnchairs there isnt much for bleachers, Coolers are welcome, there is food and NA beverages forsale, but i dont believe that there is beer forsale, so byob.

Re: bring your lawnchairs July 03, 2013 02:00PM
what are the gate and hook costs?
Also why run the 11000 &13000# farm classes so far apart?

Re: bring your lawnchairs July 03, 2013 03:38PM
The gate is a free will donation and hook fee is $20 per class. The 11000 and 13000 are like that because the way the schedule is everyone pulls once in their lighter class then everyone hooks again in their heavier class. We decided to run the classes light to heavy then start all over light to heavy. In doin this everyone will get to pull once before anyone gets to hook a second time. Thanks

Re: bring your lawnchairs July 03, 2013 04:30PM
should split up the 11000 and 13000 lb 8 and 12 mph classes then. otherwise the guys that can only pull 13000 will have both hooks at the end.

Re: bring your lawnchairs July 03, 2013 06:04PM
if you had to guess time frame for the 11 and 13 farm classes?
trying to see if I can make it for the 11 or not.

Re: bring your lawnchairs July 03, 2013 09:53PM
Not exactly sure on time frame cause it kinda all depends on how much equipment we have but if I had to guess I'm hoping we are to the 11 between noon and 1. Just a guess though.

Re: bring your lawnchairs July 03, 2013 10:06PM
Int puller I understand what ur saying. If you can only make 13 then you would have to wait most of the day. The reason I made the schedule the way it is is for the guys that want to pull both 11 and 13. The way the schedule is it gives almost everyone time to get back after their pull and take their time putting weight on for their next class. Hope u can make it. Thanks

Re: bring your lawnchairs July 04, 2013 02:08PM
Good pull Dan!

Re: bring your lawnchairs July 05, 2013 01:33AM
I would just like to thank everyone that came yesterday. My god there was a ton of iron. Thanks for hanging in there through the chaos while we tried our hardest to get things organized. We no what needs to be changed now ( less classes) and will work to improve auroras tractor and truck pull. Thank you to all the 2 hot 2 farm guys that made the trip from Wisconsin. I think there was 12 in that class. Thank you to the people that helped out yesterday. Chuck Franzen was a rock star getting classes lined up in the morning. Chuck Steffen for running flags for us. Wyatt Blackford for lining up the to hot class and helping with that. Rolfes transport for sponsoring our shootout class. Thank you thank you thank you. I do believe we had close to 200 hooks yesterday. Hopefully we c everyone back again next year with a condensed version of this year. Thanks Dan

Had a good time, the empty cooler and sunburn prove it! Also got quite a few pulls on video, but the camera battery died just after the first 2 hot 2 farm class. Will provide a link to the youtube video when I get it uploaded later today.

Some Videos from yesterday July 05, 2013 03:16PM
