so Im kinda confused I checked your website and it said farm means farm but last year I seen a farm tractor go 19 mph in the 11000 lbs class and in the na class there is a hometown boy who has a oliver that I know has not done any farming in a long time |

the tractor that went 19 i believe got put in 2hot2 farm and in the na class it isnt farm stock there is not hardly a stock tractor in it alot of the deeres are are bigger cubes and that is the way that class has been for years 18.4 tire,3000 rpm naturally asperirated (except 4 cyl turboed limited turbo size allowed),not to many in that class see farm work. And I believe the smallest farm class last year was 14000 this year we have a 12000 stock appearing(pumps , manifolds, etc for farm classes) judges discration final.20.8 x38 or 18.4 x42 pressed steel any size stock cast or factory ten bolt such as Magnums,New hollands, etc. newer models that come with steel wheels.dont come with ten bolt factory duals on a 1066,4450,etc that are46sor so forth. |

will there be a pace on the classes this year? i was under the impression there would be last year but the obviously was not. My family and i don't need to make the trip to be beat be 90 feet from a tractor running hi 3rd. |

Call the numbers avalible for rules and information, why try to start something on here. If speed limit is suspose to even it up why worry about a ice box, you can run any turbo, pump, cubes, etc. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/08/2013 07:39AM by Mark. |

So make rules but dont enforce them id say if they have ice box let them pull only exibition or go pull where they belong 640 pro farm |

looking in

Is it too hard to just not fill the ice box? sounds like a simple solution. And by the rules stated the speed limit for the first class it will be 15,17, or 18mph. Correct since cuba was 16mph? |

I dont think so every year we here same excuse their trying to get it set up for badger state but they still pull to hot to farm with ice box just to try to look cool in DARLINGTON So if you dont fit rules pull somewere else or let every one else have icebox lets not bend rules for one |

Rigged or not the sled settings were little to be desired... There were about five decent turbo pulls all night that didnt snuff... and dont tell me its because the track was that tight. The track was tight but the force that sled was hitting with was enough for a limited prostock. Either way Mark the pull had a awesome payout |
Re: Darlington, WI July 11 & 3
|
was there
|
it looked to me like the sled got just a little easier to pull at the end of the track for a few certain tractors. But it was a good pull to watch. I liked watching all the big charger 2hot tractors puke it on the line. and the speed limit was 18 y was every one only runnin 14-15mph? I thought they were all that bad a** tractors? |
Re: Darlington, WI July 11 & 3
|
video don't lie
|
If you watch the 14k video the guy taping even makes the comment bout a tractor running 16mph in the class. Didn't most too hot to farm tractors run between 15-16 most of the night? |
Re: Darlington, WI July 11 & 3
