good question

I believe you would see a lot of super farms jump up to that class if it was around and I think it would grab more peoples attention. its a fun class to watch I know that |

Wondering about 4.1
|
Just wondering how the 640s are holding up with the 4.1 chargers as compared to the 540 light pro's with unlimited turbos? |

Good idea

Why dosent east coast let the 4.1 640 run in that class it would be pretty fair I would think like the 540cubes and the biggest charge they can run let the 4.1 run in there |

There have been several places that run the 4.1’s and Light Pros together at 9000lbs. It doesn’t do bad, the problem is it can very easily lead to one group or another feeling like they are getting the short end. Also, just from what I’ve seen, not always, but a lot of times when you see pullers jump from a mixed to a true Limited/Light Pro class, they struggle. I think it is because when you either add or take away 500lbs from a tractor, that can quickly throw your whole balance off and maybe even make you change gear.
Running them together is not the worst thing ever, but, in my personal opinion, it’s not ideal either. |

It's become a strong class in Wisconsin. Some SF and prostock guys making the switch. Badger state and wtpa both have good classes. Definitely more 4.1 than lites up here. I think people are concerned that there is talk about going component on the lites. Afraid to build one just to have the rules change. There have been some casualties in the 4.1 class this year. They're running them hard. |

I see a lot of the Light pro's having engine problems too. Pushing these 540s to 3000 hp or maybe even more takes a toll on them too! I've wondered how the 640s held up as well pushing them near 2500 hp? |

Well like esp why don't they run the 4.1 with the heavy suppers and just have it like a split class that way you don't have to change the sled I think more sf would go to the 4.1 and then more sf would come into the sport |
