Hotels are only 17 miles away @ Viroqua, 40 miles to Prairie Du Chein or La Crosse, 35 miles to Waukon, Ia. Saturday morning until pull time we will have test hooks for you guys getting ready for the winter season. Ph. Jeff Parr @ 608-632-4020 or Brian Mikkelson @ 608-219-0358 for info. on this. For any pull info. ph. Jeff Parr @ 608-632-4020 Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/28/2013 02:24PM by jeff parr. |

We would be glad to add a 2wd class. Just call and let me know what rules would work and how many trucks would come. Sorry when it comes to trucks I'm not up on what you all are doing for rules. Also working on a antique WINNER TAKES ALL CLASS thinking 5250 anything goes, but with a slow pace. We will also take the top 4 from the 12000 & 13000 FARM CLASSES and hook @ 12500 with the winner getting $500. These classes will be paced @ 10mph and 20.8 x 38 or 18.4 x 42 tire limit. Also stock turbo. Tractors will be checked. Also looking at doing the same for the 12500 & 14000 open farm classes. If you would like to change the weights in these classes let me know. This will be anything goes with a 15mph pace. When I see what weights guys are thinking I'll post. |

2WD Super Stock Trucks are virtually the same trucks as the SWWC open stock 4WD trucks, except in a 2WD version. See www.FantasyTruck Pullers.com for class rules.Leo Massman 319-415-5482 |

9000 lbs and up to unlimited 4wd tractors. The only paced classes will be the 12000 & 13000 lb classes @ 10 mph. Also working on 2 open farm classes that may or may not be paced. Will keep posted. Will get poster posted as soon as technical difficulties are worked out. Also watch the "HOOK" magazine with a full page add coming soon. |

5800 & 6200 2wd Truck Classes will be added to the Saturday Show this year. We are always glad to hear from different groups of pullers that would like to make the trip to Retreat.
Don't forget about our 2- way parade, horse show, chicken dinner, & this year The Back Home Boys @ 9:00 pm on Saturday night. We will also be having test hooks Saturday morning up to pull time for anyone wanting to get ready for this years winter pulling season. If you want to test on a 200' track or a 300' it would be a good time to try new things out. Bring the whole family out as there is something for everyone. |

We were not able to get the dump truck class put together for the Vernon County Fair. So we will have them in Retreat on Saturday. No hook fee, come pull for bragging rights. If anyone that brings a dump truck and donates a load of fill we will have something special for you at the registration booth. |

The top 4 tractors from the 12000 & 13000 farm classes will pull @ 12500 with the winner receiving $500. All tractors are subject to rpm checks and turbo checks. 20.8x38 or 18.4x42 tire limit. SWWI Pullers at Retreat, WI on Saturday, Sept. 28th at 3:00 p.m. We will have all our classes 480 c. Open Stock Gas Trucks, 466 Tractors, 2.5 & 2.6 Diesel Trucks.
2.5 will be allowed to have hanging weights at this pull...and this will be your last points pull for the 2.5 and Open Stock Gas of the year. Retreat will be hosting a true 2.5 work stock class...not SWWI Pullers... like they had in Viola this last weekend. There will also be a 3.0 or Open Diesel class. Any questions on any of these classes call me 608-632-3178 Thanks, Guy |

Watching the weather and the track conditions as we work on the track this week to figure out class order. For sure the 1st class on track 1 will be the SCWTP 5500 limited class and track 2 9000 farm. Class 2 on track 2 will be "stock diesel" trucks. |

Re: 5500 open anything goes

Any idea, when the 5500 OPEN (anything goes) will pull tonight?
Will be great, if the Open Stock 4x4 trucks, a few V8 tractors and any 2 wheel drive truck that could, would jump in at 5500! |

It will be towards the end. We added this class so the classes that we originally had will pull 1st. With the two tracks we are hoping to be done around 10:30.
ANYTHING THAT PULLS IN THIS CLASS IS SUBJECT TO SAFETY INSPECTION, anything deemed UNSAFE will not be allowed to pull. |

Track is very dry. They are calling for .25inches of rain, no problem with that. The map looks like the rain may be lighter here or split and miss us. That's my forecast!!!! Will try to update as day goes on. |

Anyone watching the maps we are basically across from the MN & Iowa border, just a tad south. |

It will split before it crosses the river, it always does.
Great day for a tractor pull, no fear. |

Thanks to everyone that made the trip. Sorry the weather didn't do what we thought it would.
Also looking for a machine that will tell you what the weather will be, how many tractors are coming, make up the pull order, and tell each puller what exact time they will pull!!! Also if it would tech tractors that would be great too!!!! |

No one knew how the day was going to play out. You guys did a great job with the hand you were delt. We all knew there was a good chance of rain in the morning when we drove there. I drove 3 1/2 hours to get there and not pull, and that was the chance I took. No regrets. Had some good food and seen some nice county side. Look forward to a good pull in 2014. |
