plumbing external oil pump for IH August 30, 2013 12:57AM
We are feeding the block where filter housing was. My main question is do you need to use the relief valve or block it off or something? Thanks for the help..

There is a plug u can put in. Just take a piece of roundstock cut to length of piece that is being used now. Machine a groove in for the o-ring only and there u go.

Thanks for the reply. Can you use the relief valve without the worry of starving the bearings of oil? Thanks again..

shim the heck out of the relief valve so it doesnt dump any oil there at all. Then use your external pump to regulate if that is an option for you.
