Is it worth the time to put a roller came in a 3000 rpm hot farm? |

Probably not unless you have reason to rebuild the engine. Maybe a 15 to 25 hp gain in 3000 rpm engines. |

We are having a problem to keep the wheels spinning at the end of the track was woundering it that would help |

Roller cam will make the engine more snappy and it also depends what grind u put on it can get i ground so that its torky and will keep the engine alive at the end |

It depends on what you have now for a cam grind. There are some really good flat tappet grinds for the 3000 rpm class. But they are usually harder on the camshaft. So good oil is really important. If you have the smaller bore block, improvements can definitely be made going to the roller. 1456ih is right in the fact that the biggest benefit is longevity.
If your looking for rollers we have them in stock for both the 1" bore blocks, and larger 1.120 bore blocks, complete drop in no machine work required. They are also 40% lighter than the stock lifters. We also grind cams too. Let us know if you need anything. |
