JD 466 manifold
|
looking for recommendations on what exhaust manifold to run on a 466 in a 4430 hot farm, are the later versions better? Is there one with a specific turbo pattern?
Looking for the one that offers the best flow and might not interfere with the hood, was looking to run a 3lm unless there is better one with an A pump and 3000rpm Thanks Mike |

Just use the intake and exhaust from the 55 series tractors (4455).. That will give you the T4 flange.. (You should be able to just change half the manifold.. I can't remember on the 30 series.. You can from the later manifold.. You can use the 7810, but you will have to make an adapter to roll the turbo over to keep it under the hood..
Edit.. I had to correct my model numbers.. Intake R89790 (50 series and later non intercooled..) you can use your R46472 part off your 4430 manifold and buy the R86029 off the later tractors.. That exhaust was used on some 8.1L OEM engines also.. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/04/2013 01:42PM by JDGnut. |
