anyone ever put a 7.6 into a 4320?
|
I'm trying to install a 7.6 engine into a 4320.. not pulling with it right away but mainly stock is all... but I wanted to make it look more like the 466 instead of 7.6. so I removed front cover and installed a late 7.6 front cover which will allow me to run the 4320 water pump. this would also allow to run the same fan without modifications. but the problem I face is that the water manifold/ thermostat housing can't fit around the T4 turbocharger... is there any other manifolds for the thermostat housing that would lay over valve cover more that would work? or did I waste time and just go back to original setup of cam driven water pump.. but would I run into issues of fan blade to radiator clearance then. Thanks |

You may have to make a new water manifold or cut yours and angle it towards the center. I had one made to fit my 4430 with a s300 turbo so it would clear . |
