Thanks for posting that film. Love seeing the old stuff. My dad pulled a 1206 in the early 70s. He bought all of Dickie Sullivan's 12 parts when he built his 1066. Remember seeing that brand new 10 he made the puller out of. It was sure fun as a kid working on and driving that old 1206. Would really like to have it back. |

Does anyone have video of mods or supers from the 70s and early 80s? |

I recognize several of those guys. Harold Tenhouse, John Moss, Wayne Andrews for sure. That's the old Golden Goose sled of Glen Orr, I pulled it a few times back in the day. |

Where did your Dad get that hat? Also the only video I have ever seen of the Landoll Sled. Have a Merry Christmas. Rob |

I believe in 1970??, (not for sure about the year) Shabbona had their Centennial, and he wore hat and beard after that. ( he might have had the beard before that) Thanks for posting the video, while I was watching the video, I was hoping the Allison team had been there. I believe Dad is driving the tractor that Fred drove, because the valve covers are polished. That was the engine that had been in the Vista rearend...Doug |

I believe the engine in the tarantula mod is a v-12 continental.I'm not familiar with the ford, but I know the continental had the cylinder heads on backward,to what is normal, with the intake on the outside and the exhaust on the inside. |

What engine was in the Tarantula mod in the video? |

Deere puller, I'm pretty sure the motor in the tarantula was a v12 Ford tank engine. |

Who was on the Farmall Mod with the white grill and tall stacks. Did the tractor have Phantom 396 on the front under the M symbol? |

I think that was Sonny McKinnon. Tractor painted red, white and blue. Twin turbo charged big block chevy. I know he was at that Alton pull. |
