whats a better class to build for? March 09, 2009 10:44AM
I am debating on 2 different type of tractors to build. either a 560 for a 5000 rpm class or a 1466 for farm stock for a year to expand to pi hotfarm/ altered. what would be the cheaper and better route to go?

You will have a lot more fun with the diesel in the pi class but it will cost a lot more. I am not a fan for limited rpm classes but it would cost a lot less and would need a lot less maintenance over the years. One thing to consider is the weight of the tractor adn vehicle needed to drag these machines around to all the pulls.Yoou cans get by with a pickup and a trailer for the 560. the 1466 will require a larger traaileer and at least a dually or good running diesel.

I could use a little help taking on the other colors in the bstp llss class, since I am the only red tractor in there.
