IH. Farm stock pulling

This is a question for all those who run IH. equipment. If you were going to begin pulling in a "Farm Stock" type class 7500 to 9500 lbs., what IH. model would you begin with and why?

Could you specify a little more. Are you running a turbo and can you run a narrow front end? What are you allowed to strip off. |

Yes turbo permitted, wide front end and a passable stock appearance . |

1066 or a 5088 would be my pick |

I would use a 706 chassis and put 66you series tin on it. But to get to 7500work would have to use a lot of aluminum |

Mine weighs less than 7000 ........... actually 6620 bare and not much aluminum on it actually |

you dont need to go to a 706 rearend to get down to 7500 |
