I have seen belt driven pro chargers on street diesels also using the factory turbo charger, I would think they would work on just about anything though.

Give Empire Diesel in Dubuque, IA a call, they have experience supercharging diesels. They put the prochargers on the diesel pickup. (563) 588-2708

Can you say DETROIT DIESEL?Where do you think they came from.

Re: supercharged diesel January 12, 2014 10:55PM
It's not really the same thing, Detroit was a 2 cycle, and Blower didn't create boost.

Re: supercharged diesel January 13, 2014 03:55AM
I always wondered if you could speed the blower up and make boost. I know the pump is driven off the blower so it would have to be reduced to make the right speed for pump drive, but has it or could it be done

Here is a 14-71 littlefield blower i put on my 1466. Pulled twice and worked well. Blower was worn out and sent tiny bits of aluminum into engine, popped the top ring land off piston. Took it off and sold blower, just had to try it.
