port water injection January 08, 2014 11:22AM
just looking to get some opinions on direct port water injection vs water injection in the cross over tube on a super farm. Is there any other advantages besides being able to fine tune your egt's with different nozzle sizes for cylinders that may be a little hotter than one another?

Run water in cross over, didn't have any luck with port injection

before or after an innercooler?

Many hours on the dyno have proven to me to do both. On a center feed intake, 1 and 6 will always get more water. When they run more even they will make more power. your parts will last much longer when you control the heat better. I can hear the dyno haters already. Ask yourself, do you want to be competitive and make your motor live?

keep it in the port if you want the motor to run even and build the most horse power, its the only way to control where the water actual goes.
