Rockwell 106 spindle ???? January 09, 2014 09:16PM
I am trying to mock up and axle build with F106 spindles and aluminum hubs. I do not have the inner bearing yet to slide the hub on the spindle to get an accurate measurement. Does anyone know where the wheel flange is in ref. to the outer tip of the spindle? trying to make this axle 50" flange to flange what would I need spindle tip to spindle tip? Thanks in advance

My hubs measure 1.17" from the bearing bore to wheel mounting face and the bearing is 1.188 wide.

So from the distance from the inner bearing shoulder on the spindle to the WMS is 2.36".

The end of the spindle is not a good reference point to use and hubs may vary by manufacurer.

Thanks

I would have all parts in my chubby hands before cutting or welding!
