PPL Hamburg: How ironic January 15, 2014 02:49PM

Super Modified 2WD Trucks,
Unlimited Super Stock Tractors
Super Farm Tractors
Light Weight Super Stock Tractors

How ironic Hamburg chooses to run the exact same classes as Bowling Green Session I on the same day. What a coincidence (Eye Rolling. At least there is only one hook listed at Hamburg this year on Friday.
On the plus side, the mods should be wonderful at BG Also, I'd expect Saturday's Open SS, Saturday Night's TWD, and Sunday's LSS hooks could pick up some guys coming from Hamburg.

Can we glean from this that the Hamburg experiment has not really worked since they've apparrently dropped to a 1 day pull? How many ESP light supers will choose to run at Hamburg instead of Pike?

If you are looking at PPL website there is a lot of missing information. They don't usually post a schedule until Farm Show. Pretty sure Mods will be in Hamburg for 2 days as long as Joe Eder is competing. Also doesn't show Mods at Greenville, OH which is Barga pull so you know that's not correct either. Must be updating site and a lot of stuff out of place.

This is the way management at PPL operate. If they can not steal a established pull like Bowling Green or Wisner they try to put something on top of it. Good luck with that and these promoters that fall for that are the ones getting shafted by PPL.

And NTPA NEVER scheduled anything on top of BG when their name wasn't on it? Check your facts Mr Typical PPL.......

And how did that work out for NTPA. It didn't. One difference is NTPA was there from the start with Bowling Green and SRO came in talked them in to going with them for a few years. Same at Wisner, Outlaws stared there 10 years ago and PPL tried to come in there and now threating Wisner because they didn't go with PPL to put pull on top of them in Iowa. It will not work either.

The reason BG went with TNT/SRO was because the NTPA was running on fumes, almost bankrupt.

Dan,

Thanks for all you have contributed to the sport with your reference site.

I'm sure there are a lot of new generation pullers and fans that don't realize what major events that made up the TNT/SRO outdoor series that are either now NTPA or PPL events. Give us a list of them when you have time so people will realize that these events have not been lifetime events for NTPA or PPL.

If Wisner went ppl it would be a step backwards. Outlaws has one hell of a show out there.
