Hi guys, I'm new to a bunch of this and i have a 4440 that i do some farm pulls with. I have a 600cc a pump, scheid diesel .015 injectors, .093 lines, and a 3lm 466 turbo. I am now fire ringing the tractor and wondered if a 55 series head would be a good option. If it is does it bolt right up or will i have to do a few other modifications as well. Thanks for your help! |

Do a search and see what you can find.. this has been discussed a few times... It seems to depend on the who you ask...
You will have a compression decrease going to the 55 head... You will only need the later rods, if you go to the later pistons, because the piston pin is a different size.. |
