6pm Grandstand-Truck and Tractor Pull- Brush pull-If I didn't list in the rules, it's open. The idea of this pull is for pullers to get out, get the first couple hooks of the year on their vehicle and win some fuel money. Very broad and open classes-if you just want to come and test and tune and don't see a class you would fit into. I am running the sign up, so I will get you into a class you are close too or make an exhibition, I know no one wants to hook to a sled that is too heavy. I have some time between 4-6pm for some test and tune for "big stuff" I know Timmermans are bringing both 2wd Mods. If you don't want to pull in the classes listed below please call me-Jason Schultz at 608-604-5068. SLEDS Brad will have both Terminator sleds there, I have had some out of area calls that don't know who Brad Kruchten is, Brad's sleds are good, he knows how to set for all the classes.
-No Hook Fee in any of the classes, but you will pay $10 Admission at Pit/Entry gate. -Registration starts at 4pm for 6pm Brush Pull. The pulling order is below, you don't have to register at 4pm, but if you are in the first couple classes be there by 530ish. I pull the clipboards 2 classes before the class you pull in. So if you are in a late class and you have to work, you can still make it. If it is a true factor tractor with cast the lightest it will make is 6000. |

It looks like people want rules and the classes that normally pull in the area. How many of these "open tractors" are you going to get compared to what you could get if you ran the usual classes? I understand you don't need 15 antique classes but maybe some turbo farm to bring in locals and their family's as spectators. All the classes but possibly 6500(and this could be also depending on what or who shows up) are 1000+hp and that's not that fun for most. The too hot to farm is closest and will still have some 3000rpm Pro farms and Hot farms. Hope it goes well just some thought for next year. |

If I added one turbo farm class, what would get me the most hooks in one class. Just an opinion, but I would suggest u pick classes, rules and then stick to them. This adding, dropping, or changing so close to a pull date does not help or get you more tractors or fans every year. Set a list of classes and rules you like and see how it goes. If it don't work this year then change for next year. I think you have great intentions, but if the pull does not start on time and lasts over three hours it's hard for fans to keep coming back year after year. Without people in the stands and constantly changing classes this feels more like a test and tune, if that what your after then so be it. Again just my opinion and glad your trying new things to help improve the sport! |
