One thing for sure, is different brand tires in the same size, will vary quite a bit in actual size. I know of some brands in the same size, but different ply ratings result in different size tires. When a tiresize is limited in a class, you want to find something that is the biggest in comparison, if you have the power to turn them anyway. |

Lug angle makes a huge difference, type and hardness of rubber, thickness of rubber to sharpen tires, ply rating, size, ETC... |

The DynaTorque II long/short bar tire is a big disadvantage due to not being a full width tire. The long bars start in about 2 inches, giving you only about 16 inches of actual lug hitting the ground at any given time. I can't see any way they would be superior to anything else, in any application.... |
