Call John Jones at Odon Machine. He has extensive experience with John Deere 2 cylinder diesels. He runs a pump shop there and has a pump stand with add-on cam box for running JD 2 cylinder pumping plunger elements. He has built many custom, large delivery fuel systems for 2 cylinder JD's with well over 1,000 cu. in's. His number is (812) 636-7781. |

We did that years ago with my dads 70, everything swaps out fine. If I remember correctly, he plugged the bleeder that goes out the top of the pump manifold and bleeds them out the side where its supposed to be on a 70. If you want the late style bleeder, you need the pump cover, check valve and sediment bowl with the fitting for the return. You going be pulling your 70? |
