"FREE CAMPING" - Thunder in the Valley, Rock Valley, IA June 26, 2014 11:26AM
"Thunder in the Valley" the Outlaw Ultimate National Truck & Tractor Pull in Rock Valley IA, July 11th & 12th 2014 is providing large area for Free Camping. This grass area is located ajacent to the spectator parking with access to the pull through a Walk in Gate. Campers will need to privide their own electrical hook up. This area will be open for units on Friday July 11th at 7AM.

I've had a few calls about the flooding in Rock Valley last week and we were very fortunate that the track didn't have any high water at all. Its been amazing how many people have come to help out everyone that had flooded basements and complete houses. Also, the Calcutta auction we normally have on Saturday night will go to benefit the local Flood Relief Fund that has been setup.

The water has gone down at the campground too and has been cleaned up with plans to open to the Public real soon. More information about the campground can be found at http//www.cityofrockvalley.com. All campsites at Rivers bend are first come- first served.
