Fuel pressure & lift pump July 19, 2014 06:16PM
I have a few questions about fuel pressure and a lift pump. My fuel pressure is bouncing just as hard as it can say from 40 to 60 psi. Not just smooth, you can not see the end of the needle. Would this be an issue? Could there be air In the fuel? If so will you notice this with limited power? Should the filter be before or after the pump.

Is your pressure gauge liquid filled? I always run the filter after the charge pump.

I was wondering if the fuel could be filled with air bubbles causing this. Seems a little short on power and rpms. Would this be a result? Would an Air Dogg or Fass system be better?
