Running 3208 cat. Looking into either but want the most beneficial for high egt. Who's got the best and easiest system of either? ITPA 12000lbs. profarm tractor

Water will lower high EGT, an ice/water intercooler will RAISE the temp--you will get more oxygen in the cylinder, and will need to increase the fuel to control the temperatures--increase fuel until the temps drop.

WE put a intercooler on a pro-stock cut water to a 3rd of what was being used without cooler
and gained power. Cold air makes power !!!!!

no water injection in itpa 12000 profarm, only icebox, plan on spending a bunch of money!! Go 4.1 if you are starting a fresh build

not cheaper but for the same amount of money unless its a 4.1 class that allows billet heads
