W6 vs M ring and pinion July 30, 2014 06:10PM
Anyone know the difference in ratio between an M ring and pinion and a W6? Also, is the W6 a bolt in when putting in an M, or do you have to change the differential cage as well? TIA.

If my memory serves me right, the pinion is the same as the M, and the ring is 1 or 2 cogs different. I mounted the ring gear on my M differential. Personally, I'm not sure it was worth the work it took to install.
