I heard a good1 2day! So is their guys running 5.5 offset ground cranks in superfarm that went with longer billet rods in stead of hardened 466rods then put a deck plate on .25thick rods are .25 longer
is that a better way to go? If so why?
Is it because it makes more torque, runs smoother,more rpms?
Sorry just trying to learn more

Longer rod will take a little side load off the cylinder wall when the crank is at a 90 angle.

But knw so it will help a little now a deck plate for a big block? Im not gonna do it at this moment anyways but now the billet rods their stronger but now are they lighter and better balanced? Is it worth $800 a cylinder
