Just talked to Jim and he has added a 9500lb open tractor class with a $750 purse

Also the 3000RPM class rules are 466 cubic inches, 3lm turbo, and 3000rpm's, we will have a box on the sled to monitor the rpm's

Did you get much rain?

Re: Springfield NE truck and tractot shootout September 10, 2014 04:09AM
They had about 2-2.5 inches, he sealed the track off yesterday before the rain hit, there is no standing water on the track this morning, and the track was dry before. Jim says the pull will go on come hell or high water!

Anybody know what the parking is going to be like for a semi? Are the pits going to be extremely muddy?

Re: Springfield NE truck and tractot shootout September 12, 2014 06:10AM
I talked to Jim, he has guys on JD Gators directing the guys with semis on where to park on a hard surface.

Semis should park in the old pits like back in the day. There is asphalt so semis should be fine
