My dad and I are building a 4320 for improved farm stock pulling. We are planning on stroking the crank. The rules state stock appearing pump, factory cross over and no speed limit. Can a built 404 be competitive with 466 deere's (4440, 4455, ect) and 1066/1466's. The weight classes are 11500 and 13500. I think the 13,500 will be a bit much but there seems to be some 9500/10,000 classes coming back. Any insight would be great |

If you have to run the factory appearing roosamaster pump as came on a 4320 I highly doubt it. If you can run an inline pump sure, but if you can run an inline, you might as well run the 7.6 deere engine. However big you build you have to be able to feed it, those rotary pumps have a hard time hanging with an inline in my opinion. |

I agree with welderup a 4430 with a built up quad and a 55 series engine will put you in the hunt |
