DT360 TRUCK ENGINE September 22, 2014 01:32PM
DOES ANY ONE HAVE A EASY COMANATION TO MAKE A 360 TRUCK ENGINE A 410 . WILL BE RUNNING A P PUMP WITH A 3X4 CHARGER

Re: DT360 TRUCK ENGINE September 22, 2014 02:49PM
It can be done fairly "easy" at 404. Not real sure about 410. No matter what, it will cost money to do either. But it will probably live longer at 404 than at 410. Now that is just my opinion and I am sure that it will get bashed at, but that's ok.

Hey Clark,
What is the combo?

Re: DT360 TRUCK ENGINE September 23, 2014 02:48PM
A dt360 truck crank with a 4.25" bore. will get you get you to 404. Pretty easy to figure out if you have any math skills.

Just fishing for free.
Is there a piston that works the best?

Look at the dynamics of the combination. Very close to the 404 deere with a 4.25 bore and 4.75 stroke. Hmmmmmm.

Yeah. One that is made by Aries or Ross. There probably is no part number for it.

Not to cock off, but in my opinion, most would choose the common 4.25 bore because the blank is available finish honed in that size right from darton. No need for custom sleeves. Some might push the 4.28 bore, but I dont know if the benefit would outway the cost.

To Supertiquer.

If you have to order pistons anyway, why not order 4.280" diameter.

It's not much, I agree. Why not punch it out to max CID? You are already spending the money.

Maybe un shroud that valve a bit?? A way little bit.

I just don't understand why people cock off about things when they don't explain themselves.

If you can make 2 HP per cubic inch, it's 12 HP. Super farm guys spend way more than they should to gain that amount of HP.

You could do that. Bear in mind though, the more you remove, just to get bigger, the weaker you can make things. So if your not worried about how much you spend, and want to make 1 pass 1 time during a season, then go ahead.
And my explanation was to Joe Bob because he wanted to know what the easy comanation was. But I must be "cocking off" again.

Could you use a DT408? (rule-wise)

Re: DT360 TRUCK ENGINE September 25, 2014 12:50AM
Use a 414 if your going to spend money andbuy sleeves and pistons and put smaller in itto get 410
