dt360 exhaust manifold September 28, 2014 12:09PM
I am put a dt360 into a 706, I was wondering if someone has come up with a manifold that goes up for the turbo. Log skidders are the only ones I have found that go up, but those are hard to find. Is there any other manifolds that might work? I have heard that a 5.9 cummins will fit with some work...

Yessir it can be done with an 03-06 manifold for sure. Have to spread the two piece manifold a bit and it comes out close, and have a t3 to t4 adapter plate. ATS diesel makes a two piece with a t4 flange already on it.

Turn it upside down and then make a simple adapter to locate the turbo were you want it and do a little replumbing a welder bandsaw and a couple pieces of pipe will do the job

I made a turbo manifold for my 666 from a 300 series two piece truck manifold and a 400 series turbo merge and flange. Tipped the truck manifold updside down and cut the merge off of it. Cut the merge off of the 400 series tractor manifold and welded the two together It works great for my tractor.. The 03--07 common rail Dodge Cummins manifold will work for you with a bit of work.. As mentioned ATS and a few others have a two or 3 piece manifold that will work well, T-4 foot and a upright turbo position. You will have to drive the manifold apart just a bit to make it line up to the ports, Do a bit of die grinder work on the ports and mounting holes and you will have a great flowing cast manifold.


Or you can just buy me a SS tube headder and I will trade my cast manifold even up..??

I should have clarified that I didn't want to do any welding. Was going after the stock look.

I HAVE A CUMMINS CAST MANIFOLD ALREADY DONE UP AND AN ADAPTER FRON T3-T4. PUT A DT360 IN A 666. THIS SETUP PUTS THE TURBO ABOVE THE NUMBER 2 AND 3 CYLINDER. WORKS GREAT. LOOKS GREAT. PULLED ONCE WITH IT. NOT ALLOWED TO RUN TURBO IN THE CLASS I WANT TO PULL IN. $600 SHIPPED TO YOU. NEIL @ 608-317-7321

My manifold is a two piece aftermarket cast manifold. Flows great. Like brand new. Only pulled with it on the tractor once.

I modified the cummins 24 valve medium duty truck manifold to fit a DT360 in a 666 for the neighbor. Length wise it required no modificaiton, the distance between the bolt pattern on the flange height is about 1/2 to 3/4 of a hole off and was very easily opened up on the milling machine. I also had to make a spacer to get the turbo high enough to clear the valve cover.
