New to diesel motors. what turbo and P pump set up for a 361 cu in ,3000rpm MSTTPA rules. Don't no anything about injection pumps and there set up. Looking to make around 800 hp. Thank for the help

run as big as a charger you think u can run at 3000 rpms at 361 cubes plus a p 7100 pump.You mite want to call fvp

I think its great, these cummins swaps open up the class to a different color. However I don't think a 5.9 is gonna do what you want very well. Can you go bigger?

Correct, over read that. Not saying the 5.9 can't do it, but I don't think it'll run like some others like an IH 361 or 360

the cummin is about my only option that I see. I seen what it can do in some tractor it work great and it reliable.

What kind of ground speed do tractors in this class have? What final gear ratio do they pull in?

I would say somewhere around road gear that something I need to find out. Some r using ta or 3 speed. I will be deleting mine. The one I want to run with have a lot of ground speed I would say 20 mph + that a guess
