wondering if anyone has had any experience with boring a Massey Ferguson block out to get 466ci aint vary many people do it just wondering is there is anyone out there with the experience and could possibly help he out with there opinions

One word. Sisu. There is not enough room in the 354 Perkins and the head is terrible. A 7.4 Sisu would be much better.

The Massey 8160 had a 7.4l valmet/sisu. David Battliner is the only puller I really know of that runs a sisu on a higher level in the sf class. He has been pretty successful. Not sure how to do something like that at 466 but I'm defiantly not a engine builder.

I'm sure with the large amounts of hot farm and pro farm classes out there at 466 cubes and 531 cubes there would be someone trying a Massey out.

that is what im wanting to do is run hot farm on 3000 rpm limit then eventually move into the pro farm class

sisu was also in the challenger mt600 series tractors too, same as massey just different paint

I think that the newer 402 perkins used in the 5465 and 5475s might be an options , they were also sold with the caterpillar nameplate as perkins and cat built them on some kind of partnership ,
