Old Neb bush Light weight 460 prostock January 15, 2015 11:47AM
Was wondering if anyone knows whatever happened to the little 460 diesel light weight prostock tractor that pulled with the nebraska bush pullers in the late 90s and early 2000s went? It used to be out of Ashland nebraska. I never heard where it went. I'm interested in finding it, I think it would be a good tractor for me to start out with and get involved pulling with the nebraska bush pullers.

Not sure which one you are talking about but I have heard that there is a LLSS Binder being built in that area for the NPPAs new class. Heard that chassis used to pull Bush.

I think the tractor you referring to is the mighty max tractor of Chris Scholting, I did hear that he is building for the MATTPA limited light class. I wonder if the triple 6 tractor from the Wayne Nebraska area is still sitting in a machine shed. That would be a good fit for that class as well.

Brian - I did hear about Scholtings tractor and Yes I believe that he is putting together something for the MATTPA LLSS. I do not know what model his tractor is/was though.

I have heard there are a few up by Wayne that would be a good fit. I had someone speak to one (not sure which) and they aren't interested in pulling at this time. Then again they may just be waiting to see if this class takes off. Let me know if you think of any other people that I should be talking to!

Bush fan what class are you wanting to pull in llss or what if its llss I have one for sale 1st pull on a new engine 2 weeks ago Kentucky invitational jan 2nd Friday night go to lets go pullin its the 806 270 566 2901 you cant buy all the parts for what I will sell it for

Well nebraska bush has a light super stock class now. I'm just looking for a older tractor that used to compete, something I can just slowly update as I go. This 460 I remember watching compete with them some years ago I thought might be a good start, but didn't know where it ended up.

I bought Korruption in the early 2000s from Nebraska bush puller. I ran it for a couple years in WNY and Canada. I sold it about 8-9 years ago and can't remember who I sold it to. I was thinking the same thing that it would hAve been good for the llss class. If I can dig up info on who it went to, I will pass along.

Nope Greg had two 460s or 560s either way pretty much the same tractor that ran on alcohol. The gold one went to New York where I think it still is today and still pulling, and the other one I believe he still has and still runs it with the heartland pullers up in northern Nebraska.

There is a 460 on Syracuse,NY Craigslist . Tractor is black with a Marcotte Pulling series sticker on it. Marcotte Ford in Holyoke
MA. Search on 57-58 IH 460 to look at ad. It's the kind of thing you're looking for,don't know if it's same tractor from Nebraska.
Lussetto's gold 560 is still here in NY, Todd Dyer from Chatham runs it.

It went to Western New York. Tommy Lewis pulled it, but I haven't seen it in probably ten years or more.
