5000 to5500 pro stock 4cyl only January 18, 2015 11:29AM
Would say a 300cube diesel and a 250 cube gas make a good new class for KY open rpms around a around a 3lm charger a or p pumps any carb with the turbo on the gas burners.18.4 tires Would there be any interest in a class like this or something along the lines theres all kinds of classes for the sixes and big cubes nothing for the 4cyl and not limited to antiques anybody interested

need more cubes...gas: farmall 450 is 281 MM u ub 5 star all 283. for diesel massey had a 318

Heck yes. There needs to be something to bridge the gap between antiques and the high dollar tractors.

I talked to part of the BOB series owners today and if there was enough tractors they would be interested in takeing the class and they really liked the idea of something like a 5 to 5500 prostock class or something like the old superfarm class used to be .with the cubes down to were 5000 fords ,3010 johns open rpms turbos for gas and diesel and even a cube limit for the naturally aspirated guys This class could happen and myself I don't se any need for it to be a antique class Since there is no tractors already these are only my ideas no diesel conversions .some were between 300 to 340 cube limit 21/2 inch turbo at a pumps since some tractors came factory that way and some cube limit some non turbo guys can live with 18.4 tires .AND this class will have to have all the safety equipment that's why I say ditch the box unless that's what everybody else wants

Please keep us all posted on progress.

Building a 4 cylinder now to pull with other groups that would fit in.

Only thing we would be in the 370 to 380 range on cubes. But we would only be one tractor and not be a regular. Sounds like an interesting class. Good luck.

suits the heck out of me I always wanted a class that could be hooked to the mini sled and make a show that way but could never get enough people to go along and build one; I don't know how many trips could be made by me but I like the idea of not having to have a superdynawhoppinmojodula truck and trailer to get there.
