Modifying a John Deere 8.1 marine intake manifold February 05, 2015 06:34AM
Anyone out there have a close up picture of the John Deere 8.1 marine intake manifold? And does anyone know if it is the bottom half where it bolts to the head that is supposed to make them flow so much better? (The best I can tell from the pictures I found, the top half looks very similar to the agriculture manifolds on the outside) And if so, is the bolt pattern the same as the agricultural 6 cylinder inner-cooler manifolds. Was wondering if it would work to buy the bottom half of the marine manifold and bolt an agriculture type top half of the manifold to it.
