What is the recommended compression ratio for a 370 cubic inch, alcohol light limited super stock motor? |

There was a thread on here, I am going to guess about 9 weeks ago. I think if you used LLSS in the search you may find it.
If I remember correctly, it sounded like a number of guys are in the 10:1 area. Hope that helps. |

10.1 is okay and 7.1 is okay the lower the compression the more forgiving the fuel settings are. The camshaft plays a big part because compression ratio is one thing but the static compression is what you are running on and the cam controls that ive had the same engine at low compression and high and couldn't tell much diference |

If you have a 7 to 1 compression ratio, just make sure you don't have a lot of overlap in the cam. Been there and done that with my old 301. The thing would rpm to the moon, the only problem was it wouldn't pull anything. |
