Why no MPH paced Too Hot to farm Class?

Mark was one of the guys who helped get the rules established for the Too hot to farm class.

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 23, 2015 02:32AM
i believe there might be a 2.6 truck and a speed limit 2hot2 farm

I've received some calls questioning if you were having a speed limit too hot to farm. Many specified they were not interested in going if they would have to pull in the 11,500 open.

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 24, 2015 04:30AM
There are NO 2.6 trucks. The only truck class is the 3.0 Diesels with the PPL Silver Series.

It was decided by the committee to run both 11,500 classes OPEN. Anyone wanting to comment on the change to no speed limit should contact Dan Kamps to discuss a future change in the class. Dan can be reached at 608-732-5758. We are aware there were less tractors in the open class in 2014. Thank you!

I'll bet Tony is excited to be pulling in his back yard!

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 24, 2015 09:03AM
So the guy who should be pulling 640 pro farm gets to decide the rules for the too hot class that is a joke maybe he should pull in a different class

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 24, 2015 09:40AM
Well it looks like the 13,000 farm just got a little hotter.

There is not a single tractor in that to hot to farm class that should be called farm............!

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 24, 2015 12:19PM
No, Dan Kamps did not decide to make the 11,500 a non-speed limit class. He is the contact for that class. The 11,500 was created for those "non-farm" tractors.
Thanks for your interest!

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 24, 2015 01:04PM
O silly me I thought that is why it was called too hot too farm but I guess what does it matter if there is no speed limit in the farm class maybe next year kamps can pull in that class and he can feel almighty if he wins

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 24, 2015 01:21PM
Do you need a hug. Sounds like you can't handle second place. You know the old saying can't run with the big dogs stay on the porch.

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 25, 2015 01:12AM
Funny that nobody EVER complains about the badger state pull in darlington always the other classes. no matter what rules there are somebody is always pissed

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 26, 2015 06:40AM
Factory intercoolers and Ice boxes are two completely different things! so what if a guy has a factory intercooler using engine coolant(Not a big advantage in farm class considering the restriction compared to gain)!!

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 26, 2015 08:09AM
than why do people put them on just for looks? think not.dont know why ih guys dont put em on

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 25, 2015 07:17AM
funny how you bitch about a cooler in 2hot2 farm but its ok in farm at surrounding pulls. can you tell me where else they pay this far back ?no one gets rich pulling, but there sure is alot of guys who want the rules in there favor.

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 24, 2015 01:49PM
I recall a tractor winning the farm class in darlington two years ago pulling 20+ mph. that's why I never went back

Just saying

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 24, 2015 02:06PM
Do i need a hug not from you you stated the tractors should not be called farm....... can you tell me what class Lee ruf pulls in or bill smith every class needs a name

Re: Darlington, WI July 16 & 18 March 25, 2015 12:28AM
it says no cut tires... last year 1 of those tractors had top cuts and the other had the old badgerstate front cuts. so can the little 466's (to hot to farm) with no coolers run double cuts to keep it fair against the intercoolers with "non" cut tires?
