Is piston cooling necessary on a pull tractor, considering how short the runs are? Are most people running it, or are they plugging the jets?

Piston jets are an absolute necessity on any pulling engine we even put them in our antique engines.

Years ago a guy switched blocks to one with the oil squirters and gained rpm.

I have built 4 llss alcohol cummins engines with and with out them and the only difference I seen in them was a 40 pound drop in oil pressure with them and never had any trouble without theml

I would assume the cool burn of a alky engine would get by without jets much easier than a diesel.
