Hand Throttle 1066 May 08, 2015 04:29AM
I recently switched from a Model 100 to an inline A pump on my 1066, wondering what everyone had done as far as a hand throttle mounted to the fender or in a better location for easier access. Was thinking of going to a throttle cable, didn't know if it would be best to run all the way to the pump or if there was a place underneath to hook to the existing throttle linkage. What to use for a handle? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Are you using a roll cage or just roll bar? I bought a hydraulic cable with yokes on each end from the handle all the way to the pump. If you want a nice handle get with Mike at Mask Machine. (812) 344-2901 He makes just a straight handle and is working on a clamp on roll cage deal.

Currently I'm not running either, I was thinking of attaching it to the fender and possibly putting an electric TA on the throttle as well.

We have one with a push button built in.and could be bolted to the side of the fender if that helps.
