1066 misses around 1700 May 10, 2015 08:52AM
Have 1066 with 13 mm model 100 and 4x24 injectors the injectors and pump have been checked recently serviced filters and was setting rpm when the miss started no miss idleing or top end just really noticeable around 1700 then clears up haven't hooked it yet to get a good pull on it at first thought it was air since we changed filters but hasn't gone away

Drawing out of 2 3/8 lines to 1/2 line to electric pump then to the factory filter housing

some of those pumps have inherintley different attitudes.if it runs well under full load I wouldn't worry about it,as you may never get it perfect.sounds like it is running out of sufficient fuel supply.a well built 13 mm will need a min. of 80 psi @3 gpm. this comes from real world test stand results

That's what's funny didn't notice miss before filter change but it's run long enough if there was air in it, it would be gone and we turn rpm up to 2900 if your running 80 psi to pump is it though stock filter housing and stock lift pump on injection pump

I have seen a filter not seal right and leak air in but not drip.

Did you put pump back on after being checked and change filters at same time or was pump checked out prior to filter change? Model 100's can be kind of finicky as m8888 said before, however they are generally that way all of the time. What do you have it timed at?

The steel line from back fuel filter to fuel pump on injection pump had something in it that had it restricted something terrible gonna get pump checked again
