Re: Taylor FFA Alumni Memorial Day Tractor Pull May 19, 2015 12:21PM
I've been there the past 3 years as a fan and 6200 open tractors has been any tractor at the weight. That's a big reason why I go to the pull, you'll maybe see a new tractor making its first pass getting ready for the season. I've seen LUSS tractors, hot farm tractors and old school single engine modified tractors pull in the class, hope to see something new this year. A light unlimited modified making an appearance would be awesome, but not sure if that offically qualifies as a tractor Smiling

Rain out phone number 608-989-2687 - will ring to a message on the answering machine after 10 am.
6200 Tractor is any tractor w/safety equipment that makes 6200 lbs.

Re: Taylor FFA Alumni Memorial Day Tractor Pull May 19, 2015 02:09PM
Tractors pulling in the farm classes are expected to be stock and able to run in the field. Stock injection pumps & stock turbos. That is why there is a 7 mph pace in all farm classes

Can I get more info on stock 8000 diesel truck class (pure stock or street stock)

Re: Taylor FFA Alumni Memorial Day Tractor Pull May 19, 2015 11:30PM
8000 stock diesel truck will you be allowing ladder bars to run bolt on style

Re: Taylor FFA Alumni Memorial Day Tractor Pull May 21, 2015 01:30PM
No ladder bars. Trucks should be street driven with no added suspension parts or weight brackets.

Re: Taylor FFA Alumni Memorial Day Tractor Pull May 21, 2015 04:36PM
Any chance of an exhibition hook of a 2.6 diesel truck

Re: Taylor FFA Alumni Memorial Day Tractor Pull May 22, 2015 12:35PM
Yeah an exhibition hook with the 2.6 diesel is not a problem. See you on Monday.

Re: Taylor FFA Alumni Memorial Day Tractor Pull May 24, 2015 02:40AM
Ladder bars are not a traction adder it is more of a safety device as way to many ujoints and drive shaft are lost because of axle rap and for street use I run mine 40-60,000 miles a year there is a few of use that would run stock but non of use will ever hook with out the protection for are $50000 trucks!!!
