Where can I buy one of these sticks to read the track to see where the soft spots are? How do I make one??

Take a stick and attach a screwdriver with some good old fashion duck tape. Then you don't have to bend over to poke the track.

Long screw driver
Borrow the spit off your mom's barbaque grill
Piece of 1/4" round steel, about 30" long. Glue or tape a handle on it.
Call Chip Foose and have him make you a polished, billet aluminum dirt poker.

I have made two, and did it two different ways I used a semi deck plate lever, cut the hook off the end then used a bench grinder to make a point at the end, or you can do buy some metal rod grind it to a sharp point and weld a handle to it, hope this helps

So there is no place that sells them? Like performance pros? I noticed it looks like alot of pullers have what look to be the same one.

Search a contractor supply house for a gas line probe. That's what a lot of guys use.
