Has anyone ever heard of a rule that states that you must have cross bolts on the INTAKE side of a turbo charger?

There was rumor of a new rule that would require cross bolts in a air intake horn that comes out through the hood. The idea would be that if the shaft broke the wheel couldn't exit the tractor never heard anything other than a rumor

I can see the reason for this. Saw a truck loose the turbo fri night at mackville, had intake in headlight and wheel came out front. Had been a small pull with people close to track can see potential for somethin bad to happen

My truck was the one that blew the turbo in mackville and the wheel did not come out it stayed inside the compressor housing

Seen a turbo wheel come apart out of tractor and cut up flagmans shoulder at a local pull. Waked me up. Kept ours behind grill after that. No laughing matter
