Tracks are in good condition for the PPL Pull in Henry, Illinois tomorrow, July 11 starting at 6:00. Please watch forecasts for changes. Pro Stocks, Limited Pro Stocks, USS, Lite Super Stock, Mini Rods, Modified 4WD and DSS 4WD Trucks are the classes. Due to the excellent drainage of our tracks, it takes a lot of rain to stop an event. Fair office phone number is 309-364-2814.

I was there last year and you knew there was weather coming in and you took to long to get the event going. Took to much time at the opening ceremonies that was a half hour long an unacceptable, NTPA does not do that. Then once it started you took to long to keep the event going in between pulls. Then when Prostocks were up you really were slow and only pulled a couple to please the crowd which actually made me mad and I think majority of crowd mad. Why cant you put a tarp over it or have it rescheduled for the next day? Allot of pullers come along ways at least try to get the pull in. I will say one thing about the NTPA they have been improving and been trying to put pulls on even if it rains. Why cant you pull Prostocks first as they are the ones that make the show and who everyone wants to see.

But what is more concerning is the weather right now approaching central IL. I am not weather forecaster, but weather channel is showing a heavy storm cell passing through between now and 3:30pm. If its anything like what we got on Wed night, we may be rowing a boat places instead of driving.

Wondering if you would like to take over promoting and running the pull since it would obviously be perfect if you applied your vast skill and knowledge. A tractor would hook evey 44 seconds and everybody would be headed home in 45 minutes. Volunteer instead of bitching- see if you can do it better.

mmztu. Thank you. Been a long week. We just cancelled the stock pull for today. At 6:02 last night, our start time, the fair was deluged for about 5 minutes. Perfect ending to a tough day! Next year July 16. 8 classes. Mod tractors back in town! Same 7 other classes too. Until then.

If you are gonna run 8 classes, may want to push the start time to 5pm instead of 6. Will never forget the year the mods ran at the very end and woke the town of Henry up at 10pm...LOL Thank you again and already have excited kids for next year.

If the current PPL schedule stays the same, that would be true. For many years the pullers would come down after Freeport to Henry, but the fair schedules change from time to time. Henry from what we are told, is hoping to stay as far away from the 4th of July as they can because of a big 4th celebration annually in Henry.

That will make a nice Illinois swing for the pullers instead of having to travel to Illinois two weekends in a row. Two hooks on one road trip is great!
