The Monona County Fair in Onawa, IA is no stranger to pulling but this year they are changing things up and having the MATTPA and WCIP running on two tracks this Thursday night, 07/16/15 @ 7:00 PM. I look forward to seeing you there.

What a step backwards. Outlaws always brought one heck of a pull. Big multi engine modified tractors, all kinds of Super Stocks and last few years the big screen. Shame to see such a good pull go away. Been coming for years. Guess I will just save my money and go to Hinton the next night.

Wonder how many people including myself didn't know there was a change untill this was posted. Going to be a lot of disappointed fans in the stands and still charging Outlaw price to get in. Fair board make a bunch of money and then be last pull because the next year everyone will know.

Sorry you feel that way "Sad". How many MATTPA pulls have you been to? Are we the Outlaws? No we sure aren't. But over the years we have had several people move up to the Outlaws. We plan to put on a great show on Thursday night and maybe you can come out and see the show before you start discrediting others but if not I know the Outlaws are pulling elsewhere that night.

Sad, when did you actually see a great show at Onawa? I went for years and most of the time it was 95 degree weather with half the SS and mods bouncing down the track like basketballs because of the track. Give the other organizations a chance. Less hp,yes, but they have better luck on that dirt.

Weather Update Monona County Fair - Onawa, IA July 16, 2015 02:50AM
Just got the call from the Monona County Fair and with 8/10th's of rain we are ready to go pulling tonight in Onawa, IA. This rain soaked into the new dirt for the track that was hauled in. They indicated that there are supposed to be clear skies this afternoon and a 20% chance of showers after 7:00 PM tonight. I hope to see you all in Onawa tonight!

Skip N - The MATTPA will have 4x4 Street Mod, 2.8 Diesel trucks, 2wd Modified, 4x4 Modified, and 466 Limited Pro Tractors. WCIP will have 10,700, 11,700, & 12,700 farm stock tractors, and 7,700, 8,700, 9,700, & 10,700 3,000 RPM Tractors.

It turned out to be a great pull. Having two sleds worked out great. I'm hoping for next year that South Sioux and Onawa don't overlap because South Sioux is a great pull too.

It was a great show! I would like to thank the Monona County Fairboard for having us and all the work in upgrading the track as well as all of the fans that came out to give the MATTPA and WCIP a try. Looking forward to 2016!
