Michigan LLSS September 01, 2015 12:41AM
I was looking at the MTTPA LLSS rules and saw two diesel cubic inch rules and one had a grandfather clause in it. Are newer tractors no longer able to run with a 470 diesel or is it you can run it just without intercooler?

Current rules for MTTP LLSS are going to be reviewed at the end of this year. You can pretty much look at Battle of the Blue Grass rules and or the KTPA rules to get a idea what they will look like next year.
The grandfather clause was for 1 tractor and ran out the end of last year.
You can run 470 Diesel w/out intercooler or 410 with a intercooler I believe.

Any idea if they will keep the class at 6,500 or will they bring it down to 6,000 like Battle of the Blue Grass?

I agree!!! The weight needs to go down.
I would think 6,250 would be a good weight for this class.
I am good with 6,000, but majority of the class up here could not make weight and have enough movable.

Hopefully they will drop the weight.
