I run a 6500 mod tractor farmall rearend 540bbc automatic tranny want opinions on switching tire size it a good choice to go to 30.5 looking for opinions

The thing that you will have to change is the length of your axle which isn't that hard unless you don't have another axle or and room left on your old axle.

He's probably running the old Puller 2000 tires. And if he switches to the 30.5 he will have to buy new rims because you don't want to cut the rims and widen them because it will make them weaker and they wont be able to hold up like they are supposed to.

If he's got to buy wheels anyway, why not buy rims with the proper back spacing? Why would you swap axles if you're buying new rims that you can have set up to your current set up?

Are you running old 151 firsestone or puller2000 24.5

Don't change, to much for single engine, coming from single engine mod guy, move more weight to back to make up for it, worked extremely well for me
